Study Abroad and the SDGs
Are you ready to experience a new perspective?
The United Nations (UN), describes the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as “the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.” The 17 interconnected goals address many global challenges, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. The UN has called for all goals to be achieved by 2030.
The IUI Study Abroad Office and our campus partners are fully committed to help achieve these goals! Through our study abroad programming we strive to engage, educate, and create global citizens who are part of the solution to achieve the SDGs for our shared world. Watch here to see more transformative student experiences resulting from their opportunity to engage with SDG's during study aborad!
Through the 17 tiles below, IUI programs are categorized based on their relevance to each of the SDG area. Our hope is to inspire you to connect with a program that fits your academic needs while also providing an opportunity to engage with issues important to you.
